Let’s Not Confuse Being Passionate with Being Opinionated…

Being passionate is beautiful! Be passionate about your beliefs…TRUTH…God’s word, His Kingdom, peace, ✌🏽 love, ❤️ joy, 🤩 working hard, Kindness…OH let’s say that again KINDNESS & GENTLENESS. We can be passionate & kind if we are passionate about the right things! Let’s be known for what we’re for instead of what we’re against. 

There’s some mix up about that these days. Jesus was passionate without being political. Loyalty to a lifestyle or morality is not the same as loyalty to Jesus.

Being at peace isn’t the same as having everything go our way. Comfort isn’t peace. Apathy isn’t peace. Peace is an inner awareness that Love wins!!! Love is more important than being right! Everyone is worthy of love & respect. Everyone includes people who don’t believe the way we do, people who did it vote the way we voted.

As believers in LOVE, as images of LOVE, let our words be kind & gentle. Let our faith be in an eternal kingdom with a KING that is not ever up for election. Our King is eternally established & absolutely AWESOME & isn’t freaking out about anything. He is the Prince of Peace! He hears our prayers & has mercy on our small perspectives.

Difficult days can be a gift to us because we realize that our greatest gifts can never be taken from us! 

Papa, thank you for YOUR SPIRIT, YOUR TRUTH, YOUR WISDOM, YOUR KINGDOM, YOUR GRACE, YOUR LOVE, YOUR KINDNESS, YOUR REDEMPTION, YOUR PROMISES, YOUR POWER, YOUR PRESENCE, YOUR PEACE THAT PASSES UNDERSTANDING (peace that does not depend on other people, or our circumstances, our finances, our opinions, or others opinions) 

When my eyes are fixed on YOU, then peace & joy fill my soul!!! Thank You for this wisdom & Your consistent reminders to not fear! May Your presence be strong & evident in me & may my passion be for YOU to be glorified in my life!

Humility:

Jesus surrendered Himself to the biggest injustice ever! He actually allowed others to be horribly wrong without rebuking them. He trusted that God had bigger plans. He was passionate about trusting His Papa more than correcting all the people.

“For, as I have often told you before and now tell you again even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is set on earthly things. But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ,”

Philippians 3:18-20 NIV

Many live as enemies of the cross of Christ…Their mind is set on earthly things 🌎 

“Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
