He’s Got You Covered

Ever had one of those moments when life’s issues seem really, really big? Overwhelming, insurmountable, terrifying?
And at the same time, you’re feeling really, really small? Unnoticed, insignificant, forgotten?
When you’re feeling lost and unimportant, how can you know that God can still find you…that He hasn’t forgotten about you?
You remember this.
God can handle the BIG stuff …
“Ah, Lord God, it is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.” (Jeremiah 32:17)
And He doesn’t forget the SMALL stuff …
“Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” (Matthew 10:29)
In our times of bigness and smallness, we will find our peace when we choose to take God at his word, rather than letting our emotions and worry take over.
God isn’t afraid of the big stuff.
Nothing is too big for Him.
God doesn’t forget the small stuff.
Nothing is too small for Him.
So, perhaps…
In the bigness and smallness of your life today…
Take God at His word.
Just sit for a moment and remember that this God commands the storms to stop, the waters to part, and He names and counts the stars each night.
That’s big.
And think about the little sparrow He sees and cares for who is falling from its nest.
That’s small.
God covers the big and the small.
He’s. Got. You. Covered.
