Jesus is holding you in the midst of your Anxiety, Depression and Loneliness

“For I know the plans I have for you, “declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.” -Jeremiah 29:11-12
God cares more about your life than you do. What if I told you His will for your life not only includes the big events going on in your life, but He even cares about every detail of your life like your grocery shopping, cleaning, etc. Also, many like to quote this verse but have you ever read the second part of it where he says in order to complete this promise to come to call on Him in prayer? Call on Him and pray. He will listen.
“Can you fathom the mysteries of God? Can you probe the limits of the Almighty? They are higher than the heavens above- what can you do? They are deeper than the depths below- what can you know? Their measure is longer than the earth and wider than the sea.” -Job 11:7-9
What can you do? “Do you send the lightning bolts on their way? Do they report to you, ‘Here we are?” – Job 38:35 This scripture humbles us and gives us peace.
“Who has gone up to heaven and come down? Whose hands have gathered up the wind? Who has wrapped up the waters in a cloak? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is the name of his son? Surely you know!” -Proverbs 30:4
When you feel anxious, remember how in control God is.
“The Mighty One, God, the Lord, speaks and summons the earth from the rising of the sun to where it sets.” -Psalm 50:1 We will never understand what he is doing, but our peace in the mist of anxiety and depression does not come from understanding, but trusting in the one who created us, loves us and is complete control of our lives….
