BIO: Joyel Vandenboogart is the owner of the Known Women’s Conference. She was the previous director of the Dignity Revolution. Prior to joining the Dignity Revolution, Joyel was a second grade teacher. She received her Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education with a minor in pre-primary education.
Joyel joined the Navigate team fifteen years ago and loves facilitating small group discussion, coaching, and finding individual’s gifts in order for them to understand how God created them and how to use their gift in the Kingdom.
She enjoys volunteering with youth and staying relevant to the issues they face. Joyel and her husband, Levi, have two beautiful girls.

Brenda Amour is a wife, mother to six, and a preschool teacher who exchanged the rain of her native Washington State for the snow of her adopted Minnesota.
Brenda recharges by being outside in the sunshine, going on walks, creating nourishing meals, being with her family, working out, and reading historical fiction with a bag of Dove chocolate.
Through the dark seasons of divorce, death and depression, Brenda has experienced the grace and faithfulness of God. She is an encourager, your hype girl, and loves to see women live out who they are in Jesus Christ.

Michele Batz is a 37 years physical educator with a masters and PhD in holistic nutrition and masters in Administration. In the fall of October, 2023-she tackled the Rim to Rim -Grand Canyon-hiking 27 miles in one day.
She’s a fitness writer and enjoys motivating others physically and creatively. The arts with movement is an element she is working on in her classes and with the help of CATCH (Coordinated Approach To Children’s Health) to combine all elements of leading a healthy, active life. CATCH involves the whole school community, physical education teachers, classroom teachers, cafeteria, parents and the community. This is a wonderful way to educate our youth to fight children’s obesity.
Michele enjoys life with her husband in Northern Illinois. After losing her son Cory to cancer in 2012, they started Cory’s Project, a public charity organization that supports the children in the HOT unit at Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Krystal is very passionate about giving back what has been so freely given to her; She serves as a Lay Counselor at Christ the Rock Community Church, is a recovery sponsor, and brings hope into the Winnebago County Jail.
Krystal is a wife and a new mother. She enjoys, traveling and learning about different cultures (she has visited over 13 countries!), a good date night with her husband, and relaxing at home with their husky, maine coon and munchkin kitties. M.Div. and began serving the Lord alongside her husband of 36 years. Currently Lisa is the worship
leader at their church, and is an online Bible study leader for DiggingDeeperMinistries.com which her
husband founded. She has a passion for women’s ministries and creative ministries to tell God’s story in
new ways. Lisa and her husband have 5 kids and she loves to host family gatherings, play games and
take her greyhound, Shadow, to the dog park to watch him run (which definitely puts a smile on her
face.)

Hello! It is a honor and joy to be a part the Known Women’s Conference this year. I have been following the Lord for 38 years. I have been blessed by various mentors through the years that have encouraged and fostered my relationship with Christ. I have been serving my church family in West Bend, alongside my Husband Alan, for 22 years. I have had the joy of raising two children, Hannah and David, who are both now both adults. Rachael Nitz is a Christian, mom, wife, therapist, veteran, and health enthusiast. She believes in the interconnection between faith, fitness, and mental health and is passionate about bringing that knowledge to those around her. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2015 from Old Dominion University and her Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling from UW-Stout in 2022. She has a background in physical training and nutrition earning a certification in both and is an active CrossFit Level 2 coach. Rachael’s goal is to see health accepted as a multi-dimensional unit that requires attention on each front and not just a select few.

Those two sweethearts have 7 alphabetically named kids earthside and they anxiously await the day to be reunited their 3 babies heavenside. Amanda also loves Haiti, all things pink, true crime, palm trees by the beach and office supplies. Her heart is to share vulnerably and prays it encourages others to find a safe space to do the same.
