When God Seems Silent

When God Seems Silent

Never confuse God’s silence with His absence. He is near. He cares. And right now, He’s moving in your midst. God’s Word is every bit as powerful in seasons of silence as it is in times of revelation. If you’re struggling to hear what God is saying, speak His Word back to Him! Let your own soul hear your mouth declare His promises, for they are as potent as they’ve ever been. May you go forward with the strength you have and the wisdom you’ve gained and steward with excellence the task before you. God Himself puts breath in your lungs and courage in your heart. He’s nearer than you can imagine and more involved than you can fathom. Now is a time for faith—joyful, expectant faith. Don’t take your cues from those who spew fear and doom. Yes, these are dark days, but the light of Christ shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it. May you shine your light in this dark world. Walk forward in faith, knowing God has your back. And trust that when God wants to bring a fresh revelation to your soul, He most certainly will.

Psalm 85:8-9 (AMP) ~ I will hear [with expectant hope] what God the Lord will say,

For He will speak peace to His people, to His godly ones—But let them not turn again to folly.
Surely His salvation is near to those who [reverently] fear Him [and obey Him with submissive wonder],
That glory [the manifest presence of God] may dwell in our land.
