Messy is Not Failure

Friends… this life is messy. It is. And when we are faced with a mess, we tend to self-reflect… we see the mess as a complete failure and allow it to define us. Allow me to remind you, your mess isn’t a failure. It’s a reflection that you are living an earthly life, and an opportunity to turn the chaos over to God. He will indeed turn your mess into a message and paint something beautiful. That’s what God does, when we hand over our mess to Him, He saves us – by grace. We aren’t expected to be perfect… perfection died on the cross. We are meant to live life fully, messes and all. Messy doesn’t mean failure – give your self some grace and give it to God. -Joy on, Carrie
